In the Field of Faeries is a pencil drawing done in November of 2009. I worked on the drawing both in and out of school. In school, I hid my work beneath my arms. I received a lot of teasing from my friends for drawing naked women.
This setting of this drawing is actually the same place as my drawing, Flower Pedestal. I was trying to practice drawing the female form in anime style, or my sub-style of it. Seeing as it was one of my earliest attempts she looks somewhat disconnected and has strange eyes. But, I absolutely love the landscape and grassy field. To me, it is mystical and beautiful.
