Group Drawing is Not Fun

October 25, 2011. Exercise.
Class was a little bit different today. After a few contour drawings and gestures, we drew a quick, 15 minute construction drawing. That was all the time we had to work on our own drawings, that day.

I wish I had a before and after, but I feel like my drawing was completely ruined. Every seven minutes we had to rotate from one drawing to another, and work on that drawing. I saw that many good drawings were destroyed. The original construction drawings weren't too bad, but then the drawing over them was... not so good. I don't think many people were enjoying the exercise. Every rotation we were told do do one thing or another, to fix angles, to add value, to erase things, to add thing back it, etc. By the time the three hours were up, the drawings weren't even half finished and looked worse off than they started. Honestly, I can't remember the point of the exercise. But anyway, for your amusement, here is the result.
