Dragon Portrait

March, 2008. Completed.

This drawing was long ago created in March of 2008. It was one of my very first dragon drawings. This was drawn with no references whatsoever. It was, however, inspired by the cover pages of the Eragon series. I was imitating the style.

I actually really like this drawing, even now. I like the calm, serene expression of the dragon. I also like how the ocean waves came out in the background. Looking back, I'm glad that I can stay my dragon wings no longer looks like flaps of paper.
