Phoenix Reborn

Phoenix Reborn is an oil pastel drawing completed for my Portfolio Development II class in 2010. It was an open assignment with no rules or limitations. The drawing features a single phoenix flying over active volcanoes.

This drawing was simply used to relieve stress and only started out as some scribbles that turned into more. In the beginning, I was planning to throw it away but I later changed my mind and completed the drawing- more or less. There is much room for improvement.
