Little One

September, 2008. Finished.

Little One is a pencil drawing completed in September of 2008. The drawing features a small faerie dragon perched on a tree branch near a pond. This was one of my earliest experiments with my erasing technique to create light and dramatic value.

Personally I love the pond area, but the sky and tree leave much to be desired. The tree branches are very natural and the sky is flat. thankfully, I have improved in both of those areas since this drawing.
