Springtime Rain

March, 2011. Finished.

Springtime Rain is a pencil drawing done in the year 2011 in my free time.

The drawing features a spring scene, with a mouse under a toadstool mushroom, a snail on  a rock, a toad hopping, a ladybug on a blade of grass, and a squirrel hiding in the leaves. Water drops fall from the trees above and slide down into the small stream of water below.

The drawing was started in my history class, being just a mouse under a mushroom. The drawing was abandoned for a long time, until I later, months later, decided to finish the drawing with a little scene as a means to beat boredom.

The drawing is not great as far as composition, but it is kind of cute.
