Motherly Love

Motherly Love is an acrylic painting created in 2010.The painting was done for my Portfolio Development Art I class. It was a free choice project that took about four hours, or two class periods.

Two pandas sit peacefully inthe bamboo forest--the mother and cub-- and chew on bamboo. The mother gazes up curiously at its surrounding, and the baby reaches for a piece of bamboo on the ground.

It was inspired by my love for pandas, and because "Panda" is my nickname. The piece was drawn from memory and imagination.
