Golden Eye

2010. Colored pencil.

Golden Eye is a drawing done in 2010 for my Portfolio Art II class. It was completed using colored pencils.It was a free project with no rules or limitations.

The drawing is of a dragon eye-or how I imagine one. The dragon is facing toward the left. The scales form a sort of eyebrow that curves up and to the right. It has cat's pupils, and the golden color and texture of frog eyes.

The reason why I did this drawing is because I wanted to try working with all artistic mediums. I have never got the hang of colored pencils. so I decided to try something relatively easy.
